I believe it is important to acknowledge the moments in life that have brought each of us to where we are now. Without them, I could have been led down a completely different path. This alternate reality could have been set forth by myself, the choices of the people around me, or the universe’s greater plan. Yet, this is the path I am on.

I can trace a clear map of my journey as a professional dancer and choreographer, from the beginning to the present. My dance lineage starts like most others – at my home dance studio. This institution nurtured my love for the art form and equipped me with the tools I needed as an aspiring artist. Each and every person I met on my journey had their own lesson and purpose that helped guide me towards my future. It is important to note the significance of each of these encounters, for the next one could not have happened without the previous. As the Founder and Artistic Director of a professional dance company, I aim to pay homage to the people that have influenced and molded me, keeping their legacy alive.

“Nova Linea” is derived from the Latin words “Nova” meaning “New”, and “Linea” meaning “Line”. These words were chosen to represent a new path in my dance lineage. I strive to make this company a positive and healthy environment, and an irreplaceable moment in a person’s journey that they define as life changing. I want Nova Linea to inspire others in the same way my mentors inspired me.
