Gracie Plath

Senior Company Artist

Gracie Plath (Waukesha, WI) began her formal dance training at Accent On Dance, Inc. under the direction of Kellie Plath. Upon finishing high school, she was accepted into the prestigious University of Arizona School of Dance where she received both academic and dance scholarships. While there, she performed many works by esteemed faculty members Autumn Eckman, Amy Ernst, Tammy Dyke-Compton, Michael Williams, and James Clouser. Gracie also had the opportunity to perform Master Works such as “Megalopolis” from Keigwin + Company and “Panorama” from Martha Graham Dance Company. In 2019, Gracie received her BFA in Dance and graduated Magna Cum Laude. In addition to her training at the university, Gracie studied with professional companies such as Visceral Dance Chicago, Giordano Dance Chicago, and SoulEscape. In 2018, she travelled to New Orleans, LA for her first professional industrial job to work alongside Broadway choreographer, Abbey O’ Brien. Since then, Gracie continued her dance training in Chicago, IL, and was a pro-assistant with Hollywood Connection Dance Convention. She now shares her passion with young dancers as a dance teacher and choreographer in the greater Milwaukee area. Gracie is also studying to become certified as a Dance Kinesiology Specialist, in hopes to incorporate this knowledge into her teachings. She is thrilled to be back in her hometown to dance with Nova Linea Contemporary Dance.
