Jesse Lozano

Senior Company Artist

Jesse Lozano (Fort Collins, CO) trained at Artistic Fusion Dance Academy in Thornton, Colorado, under the direction of Jen Jarnot. He danced competitively and worked with many professional choreographers including Martha Nichols, Jenn Freeman, Chelsea Thedinga, and numerous others. Jesse went on to pursue his dance career at the University of Arizona School of Dance, accepting both academic and dance scholarships. He performed works here from Paul Taylor, Frank Chaves, Autumn Eckman, Tamara Dyke-Compton, and multiple recognized choreographers. Jesse choreographed two pieces which were selected by the School of Dance Faculty to be performed in the Student Spotlight shows. In addition to training with the University’s faculty, he has worked with Joshua Manculich in Whirlwind Dance Company, and Jessica Starr in MusEffect. Jesse graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arizona in May of 2022, with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Dance and a Business Administration minor. He continues to teach and choreograph at studios in the Milwaukee area, sharing his passion with young artists. Jesse is also an assistant for Adrenaline and Revive Dance Conventions. He currently resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he is in his second season as a company artist with Nova Linea Contemporary Dance, under the direction of Jared Baker.
